Generated warm-up work appears in the normal set list with its own type, so it prepares the lift without inflating working-set analytics.
Ramp-up preview
Kinoku previews progressive warmup sets before adding them so you can sanity-check the ramp in seconds.
What it is
The Warmup Generator writes your warmup sets for you, using the working weight of the exercise and the bar setup you already saved. Kinoku does the math, so your heavy sets start sooner.
How it works
Here is what happens on a heavy bench day. The proposed sets ramp toward your working weight, with reps falling as the weight climbs, and each one rounds to a load your plates can actually make. Two sets that round to the same weight collapse into one. The empty 20 kg bar is the floor, so nothing lands beneath it, and your top set is never copied into the ramp.
You see the whole ramp before a single set is added. Accept the ones you want, then edit or delete them in the workout log like any other warmup. The judgment stays with you on a day when a shoulder asks for one more light set.
Why the app does this math
Warmup math happens under time pressure. You are standing at the rack with cold hands, working out a fraction of a number you half remember, on every heavy day of every week.
The answer also has to land on plates you own. A tidy percentage helps nobody when the gym has no plate small enough to build it. The generator rounds to a weight you can load rather than one that looks neat on paper.
Generated sets stay typed as warmups too. Your working-set numbers, your volume totals, and your records read the same afterwards as they did before, because a warmup counts as a warmup everywhere in the app.
Your setup, not an assumption
Bar weight, plate steps, and metric or imperial display all come from your own settings. Not every gym runs a 20 kg bar and the same smallest plate. A tool that assumed one would be wrong for a lot of the people using it.
What it cannot know
The generator reads weights and nothing else, so it has no idea that your elbow is stiff today or that you already warmed up on the bike. The ramp is a proposal, and the sets you keep are the ones you choose to do.
Free, forever
The generator, your bar setup, and the unit handling behind it cost nothing. Small tools like this are most of the reason the app feels quick on an ordinary day. Charging for a bit of math would be a strange place to start.
