What this feature looks like in the app
Practical gym utility
A quick bar-loading tool that lives in your logging flow, not in a separate app.
What it is
A plate calculator built right into workout logging. Tap a set, and it shows which plates to load on each side of the bar. No more math between sets.
How it works
- Set your bar weight. A 20 kg bar, a 15 kg bar, an EZ bar, your home fixed bar, whatever you use.
- Set your plate inventory. List the plates you own or have at the gym.
- Type a target weight. You get a picture of the plate stack on each side.
- It picks the fewest plates that hit the weight, and loads the heavy ones first.
Why it helps
Ever stood under a loaded squat bar, unsure if it was 142.5 or 145 kg? This ends that question. It is a small tool, but after a week it feels like part of your routine.
Two gyms, two setups
Train in two places? Save a setup for each one. Keep the plates for your home rack in one, the gym plates in another. Switch between them in a tap, and the calculator uses the one you pick.
Kilos or pounds
It works in kg or lb, based on your unit setting (Settings then Units). Both come with the standard plates ready to go. You can add small plates too, like 0.25 kg or 1.25 kg, for tiny jumps in weight.
Free, in the workout logger, on every set.
