Zone Training shows how hard you ran, not just how far.
What it is
Every GPS run gets a look at how hard you ran. Kinoku sorts your pace into zones on its own. The zones go from Recovery to Easy, Tempo, Threshold, Interval, and Race. It shows how long you stayed in each one. It also gives the run an effort score from 0 to 5. A higher score means a harder run.
Easy days easy, hard days hard
Many runners spend too much time in the middle. That pace is too fast to rest and too slow to get faster. There’s a simpler plan. Run easy about 80% of the time. Run truly hard the other 20%. Skip the middle.
Kinoku shows your week as a balance chart. Too much middle? You’ll spot it right away.
Your week, rolled up
Every Monday, Kinoku sums up the week before:
- Time spent in each zone
- Your easy-vs-hard split
- Your average effort score for the week
- A note on what next week could look like
It lives on the Run Analytics Dashboard, next to Run Analytics and your fitness trend.
Why it matters
A coach often tells new runners the same thing. Your easy days are too hard. Kinoku just shows you the chart. It comes with PRO.
