What is the Health Connect integration?
Health Connect lets health apps on your phone share data. Kinoku can read your sleep, steps, heart rate and weight, bring in runs, and share your workouts.
Health Connect is an Android app that lets the health apps on your phone share data with each other. In Kinoku, open Settings, then Health Connect, and tap Connect. Kinoku then brings in your last 30 days of body data, such as sleep, steps, heart rate and weight, from apps like Samsung Health and Fitbit.
With Auto-sync on, Kinoku refreshes when you open it, up to once an hour. Two more switches widen that: Sync while Kinoku is closed adds a sync every 6 hours, and Read up to a year back reaches past the first 30 days. Each of them asks Health Connect for an extra permission.
Under Workouts, Bring in runs, walks and rides adds sessions from apps such as Strava and Garmin, even treadmill runs and indoor rides. Share Kinoku workouts lets other health apps see yours, and you can turn each switch off at any time.
Health Connect keeps this data on your phone, and Kinoku does not send those records to its servers. When you type a value in by hand, it wins over a synced one. Connecting and syncing are free.

Health Connect
Kinoku reads and writes Android Health Connect data without passing it to a cloud. Period flow import is a Pro feature and read-only. Kinoku never writes cycle data back to Health Connect.
