Real capture. Mastered and Bronze tiers with progress bars across Strength, Endurance, and Recovery. 13 of 102 tiers earned this session.

What it is

Kinoku has 130 badges across 13 groups. Most have Bronze, Silver, and Gold tiers. They reward showing up, hitting PRs, resting well, and trying new things.

There is a secret layer too. It opens once you earn Gold in a few groups. These are the archetypes. You can be the Lifter, the Runner, the Athlete, or the Devotee.

The 13 groups

  • Consistency. Streaks and weekly habits. Showing up when it’s hard.
  • Strength. PRs, 1RM goals, and how strong you are for your weight.
  • Volume. How much you lift in one day and over time.
  • Variety. New lifts, new sports, new routines.
  • Endurance. Run and cardio distance goals.
  • Dedication. Months and years of logging.
  • Wellness. Pulse Score states and tracking habits.
  • Mastery. Finishing hard programs and plans.
  • Balance. Even muscle work and lift ratios.
  • Recovery. Rest habits, rest days, and sleep.
  • Competition. Social Bets wins and finished games.
  • Archetype. Big goals that need Gold in a few groups first.
  • Secret. Hidden ones with no hints. Finding them is the fun part.

What you can earn them for

Here are some of the things Kinoku rewards.

  • Volume. Your first 1,000 kg in a day. Your first 100,000 kg. Your first million kg.
  • Streaks. 7, 30, and 100 days in a row.
  • PRs. Your first PR. Ten PRs. Fifty PRs.
  • Run distance. First 5k, 10k, half marathon, and marathon.
  • Bodyweight strength. Gravity Defier tiers at 1.0×, 1.5×, and 2.0× your weight (see Bodyweight Total Load).
  • Pulse Score. Days at Thriving. Weeks at Building. Your first deep insight.
  • Rest days. Rest days you log, plus rest Kinoku spots for you (ELITE).
  • Social Bets. Your first bet, first win, and streak bets.
  • Polarized weeks. An 80/20 Zone Training split (see Zone Training).
  • Secret ones. Certain lift combos, times of day, and special cases.

Tier-gated achievements

Most badges open on any plan. A few are tier-gated. They need data from a PRO or ELITE feature first. One example is the polarized-week badge. It needs Zone Training.

Kinoku still shows these. They get a 🔒 PRO or 🔒 ELITE badge. They do not hide. So you can see the whole ladder. You know which rungs need an upgrade. Most of the badges are free.

Why this isn’t gimmicky

Many apps hand out badges just for opening them. That feels cheap.

Kinoku asks for the real work. The tiers mean there is always a next step, even years in. You start at Bronze “first 5k” and climb to Gold “50 5k runs.” The bar rises as you do.

The Archetype goals go even further. They open only once you earn Gold in a few groups. You can be the Lifter, the Runner, the Athlete, or the Devotee. They reward years of broad work, not grinding.
