What is the Form Band on the Coach screen?

The Form Band is the three shaded bands, Fresh, OK and Tired, behind the Form line on the Training form card of the Coach screen.

The Form Band is the three soft bands behind the line on the Training form card, on the Coach screen. From top to bottom they read Fresh, OK and Tired, and the line shows where your form sat in them over the last eight weeks. A pill beside the chart names your state in plain words, such as Productive or Tapering.

Part of the band is personal. Once you have about four weeks of form history, the Fresh edge moves to match what counts as fresh for you. The Tired edge stays at one fixed level for everyone, so a long stretch of heavy fatigue never starts to look normal.

You type nothing in, because the chart comes from the strength and cardio sessions you log. Tap Show fitness details to see the two lines behind form: fitness, also called chronic training load (CTL), and fatigue, or acute training load (ATL). Form itself is known as training stress balance (TSB).

The bands, the pill and the details are free for everyone.

The lead card on the Coach screen shows how fresh or tired you are right now. One Form line sits over three soft bands: Fresh, OK, and Tired, with a state pill beside it. Tap Show fitness details for the fitness and fatigue lines behind it. The base chart is free for all. Pro adds forecast lines and a note in plain words.
