Do classes move my journey?

Yes, while classes are on for your road. A class moves you about as far as you would walk or run in the same time at the same effort.

Yes, while classes are switched on for your road. A new road starts with them on, and you can turn them off or back on later with the Classes you log switch on the road’s page.

A class moves you about as far as you would walk or run in the same time at the same effort. The kind of class sets the effort, using published energy costs for each activity. The intensity you pick when you log it then nudges that up or down a little. So an hour of yoga moves you less than an hour of spin, and no class moves you further than a walk or run of the same effort would.

Nobody measured the distance, so class kilometres are an estimate, and the road marks them that way on a line of their own. If your phone or watch also counted steps during the class, the road counts whichever is larger, never both.
