Can I fix a wrong step count?
Yes. On the Steps screen, tap Fix steps or pick a day and tap Correct, then type the count you want. What your devices counted stays saved.
Yes. On the Steps screen, tap Fix steps next to Edit goal, or pick a day in the week card and tap Correct. Type the count you want that day to show and save it. A correction can add up to 30,000 steps to one day, and it works on today or on any past day back to your first counted day.
Kinoku keeps what your devices counted and saves only your change on top. Remove correction brings the old count back, and Change History keeps a record of each edit.
Your goal, streak, Kinoku Score and achievements use the corrected count. Personal records, Social Bets and Journeys leave out steps you add, while steps you take off stay off there too. Health Connect and your watch never receive the correction.
If a tracked walk or run gave you estimated steps you did not take, the same sheet lists it with a Remove button, and Add back puts its estimate in your count again. Step corrections are free.
