What is Training form?

Training form is one number on the Coach screen for how fresh you are today: the fitness you built over weeks minus the fatigue of recent days.

Training form is one number for how fresh you are today, and higher means fresher. You find it at the top of the Training form card on the Coach screen.

Kinoku builds it from two running totals of your own sessions. Fitness is the load you built up over about six weeks, so it moves slowly. Fatigue is the load from roughly the last week, so it rises and falls fast. Form is fitness minus fatigue.

Form uses both totals as they stood when the day began, which is why it can trail today’s fitness and fatigue by a day. Form tells you what you woke up with, not what you have done since. Lifting, runs, swims, classes and brisk walking all count toward the load.

The idea comes from endurance sport, where it is known as the Banister model, so it works as a rough guide rather than a verdict. When the chart and how your body feels disagree, your body knows things the chart cannot see.

The chart, its bands and the fitness details are free. Pro adds seven-day forecast lines and a short note in plain words about the trend.

The lead card on the Coach screen shows how fresh or tired you are right now. One Form line sits over three soft bands: Fresh, OK, and Tired, with a state pill beside it.
