How do achievements work in Kinoku?
Kinoku awards achievements on its own as you reach milestones in 13 categories. Most climb from Bronze to Gold, and secret ones stay hidden.
Badges come to you on their own as you log, so you have nothing to set up. Kinoku checks your history and hands out any milestone you have reached. You can see the full list from Achievements in the side menu.
Kinoku has 132 of them, sorted into 13 groups: Consistency, Strength, Volume, Variety, Endurance, Dedication, Wellness, Mastery, Balance, Recovery, Competition, Archetype and Secret.
Most badges climb from Bronze to Silver to Gold as you keep going, while some are a single award. The Archetype ones, such as The Lifter or The Runner, ask for Gold in a set of other badges first.
Secret badges stay hidden until you earn one. Each comes from an odd moment, like a workout logged between midnight and 4 a.m., or 100 reps of one exercise in a single session.
You can earn most of them on the free plan, but not all. A few need data that only a Pro feature collects, so they carry a Pro badge and stay out of reach until that feature is on.
