How do Skill Journeys work?
Pick a free skill, like a first pull-up. Kinoku builds editable routines, reads your sets and opens the next step when you earn it.
A skill is one move you cannot do yet, such as a First Pull-Up, a 30-Second L-Sit or a First Pistol Squat. Every one is free. Open the Skill Board from the side menu or the Challenges screen, pick a skill and tap Start this skill.
Kinoku then builds routines for each step on the way and puts the sessions on your calendar, and you can edit those routines like any other. After each workout it reads your completed sets for the move it is watching. Hit a step’s target in two sessions in a row and the next step opens, while a session without the move counts neither for you nor against you.
When progress slows, Kinoku may offer to repeat a week or step back a rung, and nothing changes unless you accept. A skill sends no notifications and has no streak that can break, and the whole journey works offline. The page called Every rule this skill follows, inside each skill, lists all of its rules.
